Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the SMECRM seller dashboard ("the Service", available at smecrm.in and as the "SMECRM Dashboard" app) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Service lets a business create invoices, proforma invoices and receipts. By using it you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by SMECRM, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. For any question about this policy, write to invoice@smecrm.in or call +91 99786 10039.
2. Information we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data. We do not show advertisements and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
3. How we use information
- To register you, sign you in and run your dashboard.
- To create the PDFs and Excel files you ask for.
- To send OTP e-mails and important service messages.
- To keep the Service secure and to fix problems.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. Where your data is stored
Your dashboard data is stored in a cloud database (MongoDB Atlas) that is set up for your business. Registration documents and logos may be stored on our hosting provider (Hostinger) and an image/document storage provider (Cloudinary). These providers process data only to run the Service for us. Data may be stored on servers outside your own state or country.
5. Sharing
Your invoices and data are visible only to you after you sign in. We share information only with the service providers named above, or when the law requires it.
5A. Google user data (Gmail)
Email Vendors is optional. If you press Connect Gmail, Google asks you to allow SMECRM to send e-mail on your behalf (the gmail.send permission), and to see your e-mail address.
- What we use it for: only to send the e-mails that you write and send to the vendors you select, from your own Gmail address.
- What we do not do: we do not read, list, search, change or delete any e-mail in your Gmail. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not transfer it to anyone else, except as needed to send the mail through Google.
- Storage: we store your Gmail address and an encrypted permission token in your own dashboard database. Apart from this, we keep only a simple send log (date, vendor, subject) for you.
- Disconnect and delete: you can press Disconnect Gmail in the dashboard at any time, which deletes the stored token. You can also remove SMECRM at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
SMECRM's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), e-mail OTP sign-in, limits on repeated attempts and access controls. No system is completely secure, so please keep your e-mail account safe.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. Invoices may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes, so please export what you need before asking us to delete.
8. Your choices and deleting your data
You can view and change your customers, products and settings inside the dashboard. To correct your registration details, or to delete your account and all its data, send a request from your registered e-mail address to invoice@smecrm.in with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
9. Children
The Service is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated policy.
